Simplicity

The hubby and I often rant about politics to one another. Our belief systems are quite strong and passionate. But, a few days ago he put it the simplest I've ever heard it put:

How great would the world be if everyone just minded their own freaking business?

Really soak that in for a moment. What if everyone did just mind their own business? Period. Why does everyone get so wrapped up in what everyone else is doing? And then encourage the use of government proxies to 'fix' it.

Laissez-faire, people. Laissez-faire.
