politics and religion.

I've been having these amazing revelations about God and who He is in relation to politics and religion. Particularly mixing spiritual beliefs with politics.

Oh yes, I dare mix religion with politics. We really should not separate them, because one directly affects the other.

We should be putting on the armor of God, rising up, and striving to get back to the basis of which our own country was founded on. Our country was founded on the basis of Christianity and freedom. Let's say that one more time: Our country was founded on the basis of Christianity and freedom.

We should not look to a president, a political leader, or government to solely lead us. Especially if those leaders are lost.

Not to say that we shouldn't pray and intercede for our government. We should do those things.

I believe in a lot of ways our government has turned into a face of evil. It's evolved into a power hungry force, always looking for ways to grow and control.

Control. Think about that word for a moment.

We are raised to believe we live in a free country. We're molded to know that we're always fighting for our freedom against other 'terrorists.' Yet, our own government is the one petitioning limits on our freedom daily. People are slowly believing that the government knows best, and following them blindly without even realizing that by doing so they're restricting their own free rights.

Even our soul's creator, gives real freedom. God does not control us. He let's us make our own decisions.

Believers need to find the roots of their courage and embrace who they are in Christ. Absolutely! Put Christ back into government, and stop the oppression that is steadily taking over our country.
